Hi,

I submitted my I-129F form two weeks back and received NOA1 a week after submitting but I'm freaking out now as I marked the field "Your Beneficiary's Name And Address in His or Her Native Alphabet" as "N/A" as I don't know how to write Hindi, but reading about it, it seems it was necessary to fill even if it means taking someone else's help to write it. Does that mean I'm probably getting a RFE for sure? If yes, then does anyone have an idea how much extra time would that add to the whole process?

Thank you in Advance!

Don’t worry, I did the same thing and our petition was fine. Everything has since been approved and my fiancé arrived months ago and we are married now.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

N/A is fine for that. That part is actually for names that cannot be accurately written in English.
