Hey guys,

If I live in New York where should I address and send the I 129f package to? Also, the address on the intent to marry letter, should that be address the same? And Last question is it necessary to purchase the 160 dollar package given by the uscis or can I just mail the package with a 545 dollar check to wherever it needs to be sent?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you guys and good luck to you al!!!

The I-129F is always sent to the Texas lockbox. https://www.uscis.gov/i-129f (see "Where to File"). From there, once accepted, it will be sent to CSC for processing.

The address on the letters of intent (1 from each of you) can use that address as well. It doesn't really matter.

What $160 package...? There is no such offering from USCIS that I've ever heard of. They just need the $535 fee (not $545).

Link to all details for K1 visa as per the USCIS - https://www.uscis.gov/i-129f

1. If I live in New York where should I address and send the I 129f package to? -

File Form I-129F at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility:

For U.S. Postal Service (USPS):

USCIS

P.O. Box 660151

Dallas, TX 75266

For FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries:

USCIS

Attn: I-129F
2501 South State Highway 121 Business
Suite 400
Lewisville, TX 75067

2. Also, the address on the intent to marry letter, should that be address the same? - To my knowledge, the letter of intent is really just a signed document so it is mail within your packet to the USCIS.

3. And Last question is it necessary to purchase the 160 dollar package given by the uscis or can I just mail the package with a 545 dollar check to wherever it needs to be sent? - I've never seen or heard of that "special" $160 package by the USCIS. I would say stick to the guidelines noted on their website and you should be fine. As well as the filing fee is $535 as per the USCIS documentation on their site. Be sure to mail the right fee as incorrect payment will result in your petition not being processed.

After USCIS approves the petition, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will assign you a case number and send your petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your fiancé(e) lives.

The NVC will mail/email you a letter when it sends your fiancé(e) case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once you receive this letter, inform your fiancé(e) to take the below-listed actions to apply for a K-1 visa and prepare for the interview.

Thank you so much for the quick response. I just stumbled across this earlier and not sure if it's necessary or not? IMG_4904.thumb.PNG.5835b7f18dcd692734d9ee8c700798fd.PNG

That's not from USCIS. Read the big bar at the top:

"USImmigration.us is not owned or operated by any US government agency "

You're basically paying them to help you file the forms...looks like a rip-off to me. The USCIS website is uscis.gov.
