Hi All,

I have two questions on my NVC case number assigned email....

After some wait and USCIS aproval, the NVC finally got the case and assigned us a case number.

My wife (who is a forieng national) got this email >>NVC Welcome Letter (ACL)

I (am a US citizen) got this email >> NVC Welcome Letter (PAOSF)

Now both the emails addressed to each of us is asking for a set of common documents like below>>

(A)Now should we BOTH submit the same document set to the same NVC address or just I submit those documents to NVC...that should do it?

(B) if there good visajourney link that shows the steps >> on what to do when you get a letter from NVC when they get your case a case number assigned??

Hi,

Once the case moved from USCIS to NVC, then it took almost 3 weeks for NVC to add our USCIS case to their  system. After 3 more weeks of this, we get an email from NVC with the assigned case number... so this is first email from them.

The email given to USCIS was used...we didn't gave the NVC any email address over phone

Oh thats good.

But i have seen people getting their case numbers by calling NVC and giving them their email adresses for furthur contact.

As my lawyer had not attached g125 form of notification by email with i130 petition upon applying.

You case is at NVC now which is good one step further. The emails you both got is basic the same. the documents you will send is her info for the IV package and your info for the  I-864 info. Remember when you sent in the  I-130 you was the petitioner and  had to submit all evidence, most of it was about you. well now it is her turn . most of the evidence will be about her.

some shortcuts  since you already got the welcome letter start calling the NVC, so you can your case and invoice number faster you need that

Hi All,

I didn't choose any agents or lawyers  in form DS261 online. I am the husband petitioner for my wife

Step 1. Choose an agent (please allow up to three (3) weeks for processing before continuing to Step 2.)
Step 2. Pay fees online at ceac.state.gov (allow up to one (1) week for processing before continuing to Step 3)

Can I do the step 2 immediately? or should I wait?

Thanks

The agent can be anyone you want , yourself  your  wife or a third party. It is the person that the NVC will communicate to .

I chose myself as the agent, when my wife was getting her visa.

If you do not have your case number and invoice number from the NVC you will not be able to pay any fees yet
