NOA2 timeline

It's been 5 months already since we got our NOA1. Our application was sent to CSC by my attorney. When I asked her about the NOA2 timeline, I was told that I am expecting to receive it by early spring which is like the beginning of April or end of March. I am wondering why is it taking so long? I thought CSC is faster than other service centres in reviewing applications. The waiting is never-ending. It's so frustrating sometimes. Have anyone experienced such delay in their visa process or is it normal?

Processing times change all the time...  You are still way within what others are experiencing.  July & August filers are seeing action on the petitions

It is frustrating to wait. However, there are lots of applicants who are still waiting for their NOA2 for more than 7 months now. Be patient and hope you will get your NOA2 soon. Good luck with your visa journey! :D

8 months seem so long. Have you considered calling the embassy to inquire about your case?

I have had dozens of Tier I calls.  At least 7 Tier I and Tier II inquiries, 2 Congressional Inquiries and 2 letters to the White House.

They all say that we haven't been assigned to an adjudicator yet.  A new Congressional Inquiry was sent today and a Tier II inquiry should have a response within a couple days.

While 8 months is long, there are people who have waited longer and a few are still waiting.  While we are at 251 days, last week a few were approved in 68 days.  There is no rhyme or reason.  According to the app (not incredibly accurate)  there are still 65 June 6 filers listed as "Received".

I wish you all the best buddy. I hope you will get your NOA2 soon. It's so hard to stay away from the person you love. Keep in touch and let me know how it goes. I root for you :).
