This question is to anyone who has shipped their visa packages to the California Service Center. I am shipping Fed Ex. Do I ship to 24000 Avila Road, Laguna Niguel, Ca. ? My buddy shipped his visa package by UPS to the PO Box 10130 Laguana Niguel, Ca. He did this about three years ago and did not have a problem. I am confused as to which address I ship to. Your help is greatly apprecitated.

The instructions provide you an address. I suggest you use it. Do you NEEd to use FedEx? The US postal serivce is good at delivering things too and I haven't seen anyone here yet who used USPS and had a problem. Saves a chunk of change too.

READ AND FOLLOW THE I-129F INSTRUCTIONS!

Send it priority or express mail, with delivery confirmation (certified, or signature required won't speed things up or prove anything more than delivery confirmation, which is cheaper).

I-129F/K1

1-22-07 DHS cashes the I-129F check

1-23-07 NOA1 Notice Date

5-29-07 Packet 3 returned, few days later than planned due to bank holiday weekend

6-06-07 Medical in London (called to schedule on May 29)

6-11-07 "Medical in file" at Embassy

6-14-07 Resent packet 3 to Embassy after hearing nothing about first try

If you insist on using a delivery agent other than USPS

Note: The following address is used for overnight delivery (Federal Express, UPS, etc.) or bonded courier delivery: California Service Center 24000 Avila Road, 2nd Floor, Room 2312 Laguna Niguel, CA 92677

I am shipping Fed Ex because i will be sending my visa package from Thailand, so the USPS is not an option. The confusion for the mailing address came into play because my buddy shipped by UPS to the address on the I-129F application but i see that there is a second address for packages that cannot be shipped to a PO Box. Just wanted to be sure i am sending it to the right address.

Simply use the address for shipping with an express mail service (i.e. FedEx) that is posted on their website. What your friend used three years ago is not an issue - follow the instructions:

The CSC accepts applications and petitions through the postal service, express mail and by bonded couriers only. Please use the correct P.O. Boxes and Zip Codes to mail your application.

The following address is used for overnight delivery (Federal Express, UPS, etc.) or bonded courier delivery:

California Service Center

24000 Avila Road, 2nd Floor, Room 2312

Laguna Niguel, CA 92677

Please ensure postage is paid in full. The CSC will not accept mail for which postage is due.
