Ok for all you guys who lives at an apartment,

I started living with my husband on January 4th but didn't fully get a state ID with that address on January 26. As of right now, we haven't notified the business center of his apartment (we live in a townhome apt) that I am living there. My husband did tell me that it's okay with them for him to have an additinal occupant in his apartment. Anyways, we will notify them soon as it's February now. He also wanted to add me as an occupant instead of the lease(they will increase his rent because of it which is a no no) which I am okay with. My question is will USCIS question the date difference?? For the I485, the question asked when I started living there and I put January 4th. I sent an AR-11 on January 14.

Also for bank account,

About the bank stuff, so my husband tried to add me in his USAA bank account but he couldn't as it requires a permanent resident card. We already have a joint account because I added him to my bank but the money there is not a lot as I only work part time. Anyways, what should I do?? I'm planning on submitting my bank statement along with his USAA but unfortunately we couldn't do that. So, should he write a letter explaining that once I get a green card that he will add me to his account?? Should he send his bank statement?? I'm really not sure what to do.

Do you have any other types of evidence?  When I did adjustment of status, I also didn't have a joint bank account, and my spouse's name was not on the lease.  I didn't provide any explanation.  But we had other evidence. For example, we had joint health insurance, joint car insurance, pictures, evidence showing we traveled together, IDs showing same address, etc.

I don't think the issuing date of your ID will be an issue. It takes time to apply for and issue a new ID, so it's normal, especially if you got it within 30 days from moving.

I do have other evidence. We have joint health insurance from his job, joint bank account from my bank, IDs with similar address, pictures with his family or my family, life and accidental insurance with him as my beneficiary and with me as his beneficiary, cards and letters to each other, and wedding photos. Also, I will listed as an occupant to our apartment but not the lease.

Do you think this is enough?? We don't have bills listed in both of our names as he is the one paying the bills. I can get the Comcast add me though I believe.

Sounds like you're good to go.

Edit: I'm not my husband's lease either and I don't have a current state ID with our address yet (only an old expired one).

You will be fine. He can add you to bills like electric, cellphone, cable, internet and the like.

You have a good amount of evidence now, also suggest getting your name added on a few of the bills.

Similar situation here:

First, put the actual date on which you started living with your husband. Many couples move in together in the middle of each other's leases and it not a big deal. Also, you already filled a change of address on Jan 14. You can't file it before your actual move in date so it makes more sense to stick with Jan 4th as your move in date. When you're added as an occupant, get a copy of the lease and send it along as evidence (yes even though it says starting from Feb 1st.)

As for the bank:

Yes, a joint account will do. It does not matter how much money there is in it as long as there is activity on the account. Also, if any of you own a car, change the title to co-own it together. If you have a wedding ring receipt, pictures,  wedding invitation, mail correspondence addressed to you in your husband's apartment, or friends' affidavits send them all along with your application as evidence (with co-owned car title and joint bank account.) If you have more bills together that would be nice but not necessarily at this point. By the time of the interview, you should gather more evidence such as more bills, car insurance, medical insurance, a new co-signed lease and more pictures and anything else you could think of.

I hope that was helpful! :) Good luck.
