Sticking Labels to the Back of Photos for I-751?

Hello! Me and my wife are preparing her packet to final I-751 to remove conditions on her residency. I have a label maker where I am going to type the names, location, dates and stick to the back of each 4x6 photo. Is this allowed/okay or should I only write on the back of the photo with ink?

Are these digital photos you have had printed out for the packet? If so don’t bother much easier and better to arrange a couple of photos on each page of a word document with a small piece of text under each one with who is on it and the where and when. Print this out in color and add it to your packet. This is easier for them to put into their file and easier and quicker for them to look at as they go through the file.

My experience with label markers is they can fall off through the mail/shuffling around.  

K1 Visa
08/15/14 - Filed
08/25/14 - Acceptance email sent
08/26/14 - Alien Registration Number changed.
10/17/14 RFE was received
10/23/14 RFE/I-195F mailed back to USCIS
11/05/14 I-129F Petition Approved!!!!!!!!!!!!
12/10/14 U.S. Consulate received case in the mail!!
12/19/14 Submitted DS-160 online form.
01/15/15 Submitted Package 3 Checklist for a request for interview!
01/16/15 Consulate sent me packet to prepare for my interview/medical!
02/20/15 Physical
02/24/15 Visa Interview/APPROVED!!!!!!! (6 months!!)

That's correct. Thanks for the advice I will look into that today.

Yeah it’s way harder for them to attach smaller photos with labels to your file than another sheet or two of letter sized paper
