when can you visit the UK again after entering on a K1?

Hello,

 

My fiance and I are in the process of applying for a k1 visa. We are at the interview stage , which will be in March.  I will, if everything goes well , be over in the US by April. Does anyone know when you can come back to the UK for a visit? I have heard you have to stay in the US while the USCIS processes your AOS. However I have also heard you can write to the embassy and request to go back for extraordinary reasons. Now here comes the silly part, I have tickets to see the Foo Fighters on my birthday 22nd June in London, I doubt at all that they would let me come back just for that , especially as it's so soon to when I would arrive. Should I just cut my losses and sell them?

Depends if you can get your AP in time.  You could wait until closer to the concert date to nake the decision.

You should sell the tickets. Or, you can fly out after the concert...

 

From what I’ve seen recently, it takes 4 months to get your AP, sometimes longer.

Personally  i woukd wait.  The closer to the concert, the better price you get for the tickets.  Unless its illegal in the UK to sell for over original price?

Maybe you can see them at Fenway in July. Celebrate your birthday in the US with an alternate plan.
