They seem to have a system that recognizes your location. They're open from 8am YOUR time. I just spoke to them, I'm in Mountain Time. Just try again at 8 in your time zone.

Wow, you are July or August filter and still no EAD!

I requested expedition 10 days after you. Still no result.

Yep. Very frustrating. I have a great job offer waiting, but they wanted me to start 2 weeks ago. They've been very patient and understanding, but I'm not sure how much longer they are willing to wait. The Senator's Office is trying to help, but USCIS is just being terribly slow at the moment.

Good luck with your expedite!

I am in the exact same situation! (expect mine is supposed to start in one week.) Every hour I am holding my breath to check my online status. Might have to beg my employer to postpone the start date soon.

BTW, I have heard from multiple officers on the phone that they should respond in 2~3 weeks after the faxing. Hopefully that is the case. (One tier 2 officer even said my case was going to be processed by last week. But it seems that my request is still under review.)

Congressman helped to fax everything to USCIS again one week after I faxed. They did not receive any response either.

Good luck with your EAD as well! Hopefully we will hear something soon.

I requested an expedite earlier this month too. The expedite request was "assigned, response mailed, completed" all in one day. Once I got the request for info in the mail, I faxed back the evidence. I haven't gotten any acknowledgement that they received my faxed documents or that they're working on the expedite. I figure if the expedite was marked as "complete" the day they assigned it, maybe they're not going to work on it any further...

Are the alerts on your expedite similar?

August 2017 - June 2018 AoS

April 2020 - January 2021 RoC

Jan 2022 - September 2022 Citizenship

Yeah, they are the same.

Based on my conversations with USCIS on the phone, "assigned, response mailed, completed" in your case probably means that they have sent you the letter requesting for your job offer.

Once you fax it, they will spend sometime to decide whether to put you on the fast lane. If they put you on the fast lane, someone else will look at your case very soon. All this might take 2~3 weeks.

I faxed my job offer on the 1/10. No results yet. Did you fax earlier or later than me?

I faxed my evidence for an expedited AP (not EAD) on Jan 15.

What did you mean when you said your Congressperson also faxed them the expedite info? You sent the job offer to your Congressperson and asked them to send it too?

I was not sure what the congressman's office needed from me, so I faxed them everything (NOA1 and job offer) to provide them with some background and evidence. I was hoping that they give NBC a call or something to check the status for me.

But it seems that the congressman's office just faxed everything from me to USCIS, and that was all. They did not receive any response from USCIS, otherwise, they would have emailed me.

USCIS did send me another email later saying that they are deciding whether to put me in the fast lane.

Thanks, that's helpful to know. The Tier 2 officer accidentally did not put email down as my preferred form of communication, so now I'm stuck waiting several days for letters in the mail. I guess I might get a letter later this week or the next saying the same thing as your email. UGH.

A little update: I called again today and was told that my EAD has been approved! I have no idea if it was because of the expedite request, the Senator's involvement, or just because my application had been pending for 5.5 months. I hope you'll receive good news soon!
