I just hope that even for I-485 they don't put us (F2A categories) behind K1 like they did for EAD/AP. That would be tragic.

I don't think they share the same view with you. I think they feel they are doing us a favor, even if they are paid by us. Did you get any mail about your SRs?

Congressman said that they have raised a congressional inquiry with USCIS for my case. Hope USCIS responds. I think with a lot of delay the importance of congressional inquiries will also go away as more and more people will contact them. I don't think even they can help in this matter.

"Make legal immigration difficult so immigrants are discouraged to come in the 1st place".

I already told my cousins who wanted to come to USA for their masters and PhDs to stay in India or go to Canada/Australia but don't come to USA else they will face same issues.

Anxiety, Depression and Hypertension are inevitable for Immigrants in USA. LOL!

2nd one online from April 9 2018

 

I had 7 other SRs which were closed with a standard response, "wait" or "case is still under processing and you will receive a decision shortly"
