Traveled on AP from Atlanta with no problems.

I came back last Saturday through ATL after a 10 day trip to India. The CBP officer took my passport and EAD card and took me to additional checkpoint wherein they checked in the system my immigration related documents. In 15-20 mins they stamped my passport as paroled and put a 1 year validity date on the stamp.

Very smooth.

Make sure that if traveling through ATL on AP have 3-4 hours of connection time. I had to wait in line for the 1st CBP officer in the visitors line for 1+ hour.

Hey guys!

My EAD has not been approved yet, but the status of my I-485 changed today to "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview".  How long does it take to be scheduled for the interview?

Thanks!

Had my interview at Jacksonville Field Office yesterday. Still not approved !:ranting:

They wanted an updated I-693 and will send a RFE my way within a week.

My Lawyer had not warned me of this. Else I would have taken it with me.

I suggest if your interview is closer to October 2018, please go ahead and get an updated medical exam done already.

Who know what policies do these immigration officers follow.

BTW at the beginning, the IO thought that I am adjusting based on my I-140 which was also approved but PD is eons away from becoming current.

I had to tell her that AOS is based on I-130. These officers are no better than DMV workers just work in a less rush environment.

Did not even know what the difference between Computer and Mechanical Engineering was. How would she interview for I-485 based on employment?

Right, they do not know much about their job. My green card was produced and mailed but ended up undeliverable. I made a service request to have it resent but instead of resending it, they told me to file I-90 to get it replaced even though the card was returned back to uscis. It is not lost or stolen. Make sure you guys put your name in the mail box. I saw a lot of cases like me.
