I got an email today from Ombudsman indicating that my case is under active review, but USCIS is unable provide a specific timeframe for resolution. 

 

Do do you guys know what this means? Or is it a standard answer?

Doesn't make any sense. Did you call L2 officer recently? contacted congressman? Man I don't know how long they will keep holding our cases for approval
