For me- Old website says interview has been scheduled and will mail you appt notice. New site says we reviewed your biometrics. I believe they talk to each other - just not accurate statuses for some unknown reason. And they kept it up and running for a reason.. so not sure.

Thank you for the answer. I think all what we can do is wait and see

Hi fellow Michigander!  :) We went from a timeline of 8 months down to 6 months in the online account so I'm hopeful this will be quick....unless the passport situation becomes an issue but i figure why apply for a new passport from India when he'll be applying for US passport soon.  We're not planning on traveling.

Hi :) I just renewed my canadian passport because it expired last year, but I plan on always having two passports.  If you don't plan on that, I'm sure it will be ok to just wait until you have your US passport.

Thank you!  I logged in to this one and mine says my interview has been scheduled, but new site says biometrics reviewed.  Same as the previous poster.  Cool!

And i think he can't have an Indian passport plus another so we're going to likely let it expire.  Thanks for the feedback on what you did!

I think the "interview scheduled" you all are seeing on the old site refers to the biometrics interview, not the other one. I see the same thing but next to my "interview scheduled" on the old site, the date is the same one as the date they scheduled my biometrics

I dont know what to believe. Yesterday as soon as i left biometrics I got an email from ELISdonotreply@uscis.dhs.gov saying there is an update to my account, but i couldnt see anything new in the "new website". this morning I got an email from no-reply@uhcis.dhs.gov saying there is an update and then when i check it says "we reviewed your biometrics".  as far as old website date goes, it still shows only my "case received" date

Mine does the same. Old site says Interview Scheduled and new site says reviewed biometrics. I live in Miami and Miami office is dealing with Nov 2016 applicants... I really wish this night mare is over soon. I want to apply for Security clearance

My husband had his biometrics appointment yesterday and the old website says " USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice." I highly doubt that his citizenship interview is actually scheduled, I think its more probable that ZeeQ is right (status is referring to the biometrics appointment). We will probably be going with the status on the new website and ignoring the old one.

Also, he got an email about an hour after finishing biometrics stating that there was an update to his account. He checked it and there was nothing. He got another email this morning saying that his case was updated. When he logged in today, his case status had changed to "We reviewed your biometrics". Just saying what happened in case anyone after us is wondering about the case updates after biometrics.
