Mephibosheth and Mammimaus good luck on your interviews.

That is so funny with the petition being approved only a few days after filing. Maybe I should check, since I put in the DS 230 Part I at the consulate in person as well.

However, this wouldnt be too god, since my husband is not on his orders yet and wont be until february...I just filed already, to save th money on the petition, thinking it would take about 3 months for the petition to be approved anyways.

Oh well, so I can just lean back and wait to fax them that Im ready for the interview... B)

Mammimaus, when I filed the DS 230 Part I, I didnt write down an address in the US at all. The lady there told me that I would have to have the address by the time of the interview, though.

Just to reconfirm that you dont have to worry about this!

What a reliefe that it wont be a big deal to change the Address :innocent:

Yes Tinki, they will be waiting for you to send the Fax, so just wait until you got everything together and then Fax since you are not in a hurry. I am actually kinda glad that we waited since our Co-Sponsorts changed and I still had to do a million things and still waiting for my 2004 Tax transcribt since we have NO clue what we made 2004, just 2005 & 2006 LOL

Tinki, Mammimaus2007 was a special case to be approved so fast, she had a Green Card before. You did good to start the process even if you do not have the orders yet. Actually, Frankfurt Consulate encourages people to start the process before getting the PCS orders in order for the USC to can take the foreign spouse with when it is time to move. Fax the checklist asap, in the moment Frankfurt gets your fax they will start the administrative process for the visa section so you will get your appointment date sooner once they get the approved petition.

Well, it is just a matter of time to have the visa in your passport so just relax and endure the time passing :D

Mammimaus2007, you need the tax returns only for 2006 but you have to put down on the affidavit the amount for the last 3 years. But if you do not know the amount.......

Good luck to all of you

yes I think so too, that my case was approved so fast only because I already had the Greencard not to long ago and all of my info is of course still on file and also my fingerprints lol.

yes the IRS Lady said we will receive the tax transcript within 10-15 days that has already been over a week ago I think so hopefully they will arrive before the 29th since my husband also has to close the APO Box soon and we have to return our ID Cards

we received the Interview appointment letter today with all the info. Are they actually putting the pic with the two ears showing on the greencard? I gonna look like Dumbo  my previous Greencard only needed a photo with one ear showing LOL

we did send out our first 4 of 25 boxes over US Mail, that really saves alot of money compared to the german Postal service!!!! we paid $70 for them, tomorrow 5 will follow and my hubby already got 3 interview apointments and two rental houses to look at in September :luv: oh I am sooooo exited.

Does anybody understand those Titer Test Results? got mine but after reading it I really don't understand it and I couldn't call the Doctor for info since it is Saturday.

It's my Titer Test on Varicella (chickenpox)

It Says: (just got it in German)

Test: Varic. -IgG(ELISA) Ergebnis ausserhalb des Normbereichs 24.9

Beurteilung:

<6.0 (grenzw. 6-9) VE

well as far as i understand it means you had the chickenpox(varicella/windpcken) and actually, the doctor in Frankfurt will just believe you if you say you had them as a kid (if you know for sure) I found that out cause I called them and i was there yesterday and they did believe me... i did have a copy of my titertest for rubella and measels though, since I had done that one anyway a few years ago and I found out that i need to get another shot of tetanus and polio (only good for 10 years and I had it last in 96), which I'm allowed to do now back in Hamburg anywhere I want and then i just send proof to Frankfurt that I did it.
