I guess I have to call the Doctor in Frankfurt. I found the Green Paper from the immigration Doctor in Texas that says No apparent defects, diseases or disability (Medical Examination of Alien seeking AOS) but thats the one for my daughter, can't find mine but we went there the same day and like I said I received my chicken box shot there and MMR. Well I guess to be on the safe side I go ahead and get another MMR shot today and get my titer test done on the chicken box since it is only 20 Euros guess that makes me now over vaccinated LOL

Does anybody know how I can find out how much the Tax Return (anual income) was for 2004 without having to order a transcript of that year? We have the 2006 Tax Return & the one for 2005 with all the W2s but I can't find the 2004 one which I only need to fill in the Amount anyway on the Avidafit of Support. Gosh I am so glad when I have all of the sh..... behind me LOL

Just wish the approval of the I-130 would finally come

yes, but on the Avidafit they ask for the Amount of the 2005 and 2004 also or can I leave it just blank? if so then I ordered the Tax Return today @ the IRS for nothing LOL

Got my MMR shot today  on my right arm, still can't touch my left arm from the TD shot LOL feels like somebody punched me there. Now I just have to get my Titer test done on chicken box next week and I am all set. I was thinking about going to the Frankfurt Doctor in August even if my approval isn't here yet but then I just have to wait for the interview.

The IRS said the TAX transcripts should arrive in 10 -15 days we will get all 3 Tax Years since they said to be on the safe side to get 2006 as a transcript too since we e-filed and sometimes the immigration officers don't accept a e-filed Tax Return.

Hi, I have an appointment tomorrow at eight to file the I-130. I am so nervous that we dont have everything we need and then we will have to pay almost double

anyways, this biographic information form your supposed to write down your residence in the last 5 years as well as job.

I was an AuPair 2001/2002 in the States and got back in August 2002, which is almost 5 years ago. Should I include my aupair in this biographic information? Im worried that they want me to get a police record from the States from my year there, since I dont have a clue as to how I would get that... But could I just leave it out, since its been almost exactly 5 years now?

Im so nervous, that something will go wrong...

I think the DS-230 asks for 10 years of information. At anyrate, they are going to have records of you being in the country. Best just to put it down somewhere. I am pretty sure it wouldn't be that big of a deal to get a police record from the US if they need it. Just ask for more details. It will take anywhere from 5-14 weeks for your I-130 to be approved, so you will have lots of time to figure it out. You don't actually need the certificate until the interview.

Good luck. :)

thanks wacken and mammimaus2007. So we were at the Consulate today and filed the I-130 and the G-325. I didnt write down my aupair thisng on the G-325 (only for the last 5 years) but on the biographic info part I they gave me to fill out (for the last 10 years) and I aslo asked the lady behind the counter about the police record from the states and your right i dont need one. Anyways, Im so relieved that we took the first step and even made it on the last day of the $190 fee!

it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be, I was so nervous. But all went well, and now Im gonna have to waut to get it approved, which Im not so worried about because we wont need the visa until may of next year, so Im not in a hurry!

The interview is even less to be worried about. My husband said the only thing that the interviewing officer really was how I was because the officer had remembered me from all the e-mails I had sent to her. :)

The spring is a good time to come! I hope the rest of the process goes well for you.

So.... a little update for my friends....

Our petition was approved June 19th and Packet 3 was sent the same day, but it was returned to the Embassy with the note "recipient unknown" !!!!!! There is no reason whatsoever that this should have happened, but apparently it did. I emailed them to ask to send it again... it arrived on Wednesday and we sent the ds230 and of169 on Thursday in the mail (einschreiben einwurf). So... now waiting for the interview date....

Hello everybody,

I am a "newcomer" to the Visa process. ;-) As you can see in my signature, I am getting married next Friday here in Germany! Whoho ... :-) My husband (US) and I (GER) want to move back to the States asap.

Did anyone of you hand in the I-130 in person and was able to fill out the next "package" immediately (or how does it work?)? We are thinking of going down to Frankfurt to hand in the I-130, hoping of being able to already get to the next step ...

This is soo exciting and hopefully not too frustrating ...

:-)

Greetings!

Julchen

hallo julchen :) yes you can file the I-130 in person but due to a new change you have to obtain a Info Pass to set up a appointment to do so.

Your husband can file the I-130 (petition) for you and then you can go downstairs to file DS 230 pt I. For everything else you have to wait because of the new law that came in effect in January 2007 (Adam Walsh Law) so to process the I-130 and proceed to the next step it takes between 30 and 90 days, sometimes longer then that.

here is the link to obtain the infopass:
