Yep... 20 fully upgraded fire towers kill everything.

That didn't work for me. I leaked all 20 lives on the last level. Where are you positioning the 20 fire towers?

The best locations are top left, top right and middle. The baddies get caught in the crossfire

and very few of them leak to the bottom where they get finished off by a smaller number

of cannons.

I finally managed to get my score up to 16,000. Now, how on earth did the top scorer get 247,000?????

I dont know, i just did it and got 53,000. How people get 4 times that is beyond me.

67 Matt85 53,279 lvl 39 6 lives +0h ago

Ok, so how did you get 53,000 at least? I guess I just don't understand how the points work.

P.S. Your signature picture might give me nightmares. :help:

You gotta save money, Jenn. You can beat the first level with nothing but one cannon, strategically placed.

The next two with only 2 cannons. Then upgrade one cannon. Buy another cannon. Don't go crazy.

Here I was thinking that I was already being pretty frugal.

I haven't figured out yet how to place the fire towers correctly. Even with 20, in the final rounds a whole bunch of creeps get past me and then I end up spending to save my life...

22K, lev 39 ... after a few tries. I liked the 1 cannon approach - I also went with the water tower with the last upgrade - that slows them down a lot, so you can do with less fire towers. I figured that the fire towers lose efficiency/gold with the last upgrade, so I only upgraded them to the 3rd level until I added the water towers, because the water creates traffic jams that really make the area weapons effective. Probably unnecessary use of gold, though...

Its a good way to pass the time while checking on the USCIS ... finish a level, see if there's been a touch ... finish a level, see if theres been a touch ....
