Hi!

i am USC, husband is UKC. We are filing DCF i130 in Jan or feb to move next dec/Jan.

Ar time of application we will be pregnant (are pregnant now), but will have baby at the time of moving. Anything to note on application or regarding money to support (my parents in US will consign application) or no as baby will have US passport?

thanks! :)

Your household size is (will be) 3 but your parents should be household size +1 immigrant (your husband) only, no need for the little one to be on their affidavit.

Congrats and good luck

I've been advised to follow the instructions on uscis which states at least 10 months in advance - will it mess anything up if i do submit it this early?

Follow the DCF instructions checklist that is posted on the London website.  You can submit anytime and if the petition gets approved sooner than expected you can slow it down some when it comes to scheduling the interview.  Also the visa has a 6 month expiration after it is issued as well so you can take advantage of that as well.

As to whether the baby will have a US passport will be contingent on if you are eligible for a CRBA and can pass citizenship to the child

awesome thank you i'll look at the dcf instructions (ugh so many checklists and instructions!!) :)

regarding the visa having a 6 month expiration - does this begin when the application is approved, before interviews? or does the 6 month expiration begin after interviews?

6 months from the date the visa is issued.  That is why if you slow down the actual interview process you can extend the timeline a little bit more

YMMV

End of June, 2018

You will probably have a Packet III (list of final documents to prepare for interview) by sometime in August.  I would schedule the medical for sometime late August which gives you until late Feb to be in the US.

When filling out i-130 etc forms, when they ask for phone numbers, do they want format as UK appropriate: 0xxxxxxxxxx or with country code +44xxxxxxxxxx?

I always use country code format for local mobile but our home phone number has always been a US vonage number
