Waiting for FBI namecheck

Did anybody else think sifting through almost 100 pages was crazy, especially since alot of them are no longer in the land of limbo.

Lets start a fresh thread in the hopes of some fresh news?

Why?

All you have to do is click on "last post by" and you are magically transported through the 100 pages to the latest comments.

Doesn't seem all that hard to me...

I believe doodles is more concerned about someone having to sift through 100 pages looking for information that would be relevant to them if they are also in FBI name check limbo. It's okay for those who have posted and followed the growth of the topic as they can just click on Last Post.

While yes, it is easy to search and click, I find myself in the middle of this because we do not fit either of the other relevant threads. We have not had and interview so we do not really fit the ...interview, FBI Name Check thread.

Any yes we have been transferred to CSC, but we know we are stuck in the FBI Name Check.

So, I think it may be appropriate to start a FBI Name Check Thread.

I agree we should start (and maybe pin?) a namecheck thread. It's "only" been 7 months since filing for us, but it's good to know we are in good company!

I don't know if you can get Ewok to pin the thread. But we can link it right now. lal_brandow did a lot of work here and it shouldn't be left to languish.

No, you're right its not hard to go straight to last post and i'm sure everybody appreciates all the work that went into the last thread. It just seemed to make sense since a lot of the people at the start of the old thread are cleared through the FBI namecheck process. It also, as one poster pointed out, covers more than just those who have had their interview.

We're are (unfortunately) members of this party as well My computer at work is screwed up (can't connect to yahoo, msn, facebook, hotmail, or uscis but internet weirds, totally odd) so I can't even see if we've been touched. Although, that is usually pointless to check since we haven't been since Jan.

It would be a good idea to have the old (and valuable) thread pinned.

Meantime, perhaps one of you guys can "carry" the link around in your signature just so the old thread does not disappear totally?

It would be nice if all the relevant information ie. this is what you can do if you are in FBI namecheck limbo were compiled and put on a sticky!!! We are still waiting since filing our adjustment of status November, 2004. The worst thing that could have happened to us in retrospect was transfer to California. The actually very helpful NY service center says they have no power to expedite anything in California except to send them a request, which always has gone unanswered. Congressman can do nothing also except say to wait another six months and then get back to me....................unfortunately, the joke is on us.
