Except for Clapper getting up in front of Congress and denying that the US IC was collecting phone data on American citizens.  Doesn’t make him very credible in my book, and simply tells me that the leaders of this group are not above of politics.

I think I said they could both be lying.  It is not an either or possibility, but in the case of the IC leaders, they are simply offering their assessment.  They have no idea how Trump is reacting to Putin and although I know the MDL wants to keep the narrative alive with their dossiers, and their collaboration with foreign agents, there is no way these IC leaders really know anything right now and are simply giving a political opinion.

Wait  Putin says I have nothing to do with election interference, The IC community says yup it points right to the Kremlin.   It seems to be a binary choice there.

Are you forgetting:  sealed search warrants, grand juries, a confession of guilt, two arraignments and a President who just cannot seem to stop making himself look guilty of something.

Not really. If Supreme Leader says Putin's innocent and has nothing to do with it, then it can't possibly not be true.
