Hello Everyone

I am waiting for my immigration visa interview that will be at US Embassy Abu Dhabi.Last month i moved to my home country so right now i don't have UAE Residency so my question.

Is there any problem at the time of my interview if i have visitor visa for UAE but No UAE Recidency?

Thank you

if u are passed NVC stage and waiting for date, then they may interview you at UAE.

if you are still in NVC stage or processing in NVC stage, then you should request to forward your file to the consulate at your country of residency

Gorkhali thank you for your information. My case was completed August 14.2017 so now i am waiting for my interview.

You may need to check this directly with the embassy. I know of some US embassies that will not issue visas to people not resident in the country of the embassy but I don't know if this is a blanket policy or embassy-specific.

Hi SusieQQQ..thank you for sharing you knowledge . I called US Embassy Abu Dhabi but i didn't get my answer so i am still trying to get the information.
