Travel in US while waiting on AOS

Is it possible for wife to fly within the USA while waiting on the AOS green card but after K1 Visa expires? Should she use her maiden name to book the ticket since she might not have any photo identification with her married name? Presumably then she should  use her Philippines passport or Philippines Unified ID to go through TSA?

I flew within US without any trouble whilst waiting for AP / EAD & green card to process.

 

You must always book flights in the name of the travel document, i.e. passport name. Plus bring along a copy of your marriage certificate (showing name change) and proof of AOS in progress documents. I never actually needed to show any additional documents beyond usual passport in my maiden name, but I always had those documents just in case.

Does she got AP/EAD card? 

 

I don't think a Philippines Unified ID carries a weight here in U.S. Not sure if it is accepted as a proof of identification.

In most cases, foreign issued IDs aren't honored in the host country unless if it is a Passport or a driver's license (in most cases)

Yes - just makes sure she brings her passport. TSA requires that the name on the passport matches the name on the travel ticket - so if booking, use whatever name those are in. She shouldn't need to show any proof of residency for domestic flights.
