Oopppssss!!! Why silently? I am much happier if finding one Vietnamese friend in this forum, especially we are on the same process. Where are you living right now? I am in Centreville. Let go out for coffee or milk tea if you are not too far away from me.

We can give each other phone number to keep in touch as a friend if you would like. How is everything with your application so far?

I live near Tysons Corner. I just left my job even though I just received my approval for H1B visa, so I'm still chilling. I'm on day 62th, already have jobs lined up contingent on EAD. 28 more days and I'll pick up that phone.

I love bubble tea. I go to Eden Center once a week. You can inbox me your #. I'll text you back

Not yet @shakeyy, I will receive 2 letters today and one of them is approval for EAD. Maybe I need to wait until next week to receive the combo card. How does it look? I am excited for that.

Does the combo card mean that it can be used for both EAD and AP purpose? I have no idea about the reason why they normally call it combo card. You already received it, let share your opinion to me.

it looks like this, and yes its combo card. you can use for both.

Anyways, my interview is coming up next Friday. I know the results might not be done in 3 days but I absolutely can't get to a doctor earlier than Monday so... might get a RFE at the interview.

Already freaking out - 11 days to go!

I actually went to a clinic that accepted my insurance, then gave the results to the civil surgeon. Cost me $200. I'll take any penny I can save.

We should have met before, it costs me $340 for civil surgeon :( but I am happy in the way it already includes everything required.

I know you can do some things elsewhere like some of the shots and bring proof to the civil surgeon but in my case, I don't have insurance right now anyways. Plus I think I'll only need a flu shot (hopefully) and this particular civil surgeon chargess less than even Walgreens haha

For sure, I've been in this country working for a while, so I'm lucky to have insurance to cover some of the cost.

I'm pretty sure they told me $200 was for all the tests, but I hated needles so I used the results I got from 5 months prior to get out of getting my blood drawn again. I broke my car mirror on the way out of that clinic, so in a way I needed that money saved  to fix my mirror haha.

USPS informed that I am going to receive a package from USCIS, I am pretty sure it is a combo card.

Also, for those who do not have SSN yet, I would love to share this post for your information. I have no idea that we can apply for SSN through from I765 indeed. Does anyone know this fact? @shakeyy

Oh I have just looked back to my I765 application. There truly have 2 questions to ask you to apply for SSN and I chose YES. So it is supposed that I will receive my SSN card after 7 business days (as they mentioned) I get my EAD card.

Hi guys,

I'm on 82 days and still no sign of my EAD/AP cards.

BUTTTTTTTT I received a notice for an interview!:jest::D I thought it was RFE, because in the informed delivery I only saw 1 mail instead of 2. I was so sure it was RFE and not my combo cards and I wanted to cry, but it turns out to be the interview notice. :) I'm so happy right now!
