Hi Everyone, 

 

I need a little help with the following question in I-130. I would appreciate your feedback and clarity. 

 

Question #5a. PART 4  - Other Names if Used

My husband name is Pedro however many call him Yeison. In my screenshots I have both names. I know its a nickname however are they asking in the sense if he used any other name in any legal documents? He has never used his nickname Yeison in any legal docuement. Should I put his nickname just in case because the screenshot indicate so?

Let's think about that for a while... Lot's of ppl call each other pumpkin, boo etc... those are not other names used ^_^ - I hope that helps

 

Regarding screenshots where his nickname is used - add a note to the screenshots.

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

You can also simply type Nickname is Yeison in the first given name section under the other names section.  Still make a note on printed photos too.
