Hello I want to ask for some help.

I will be visiting my family back in Singapore before I go US. So that’s Manila to Sg I’ll stay there for 3-5 days and then from Singapore I will fly to Boston. Is it okay if I’ll have a flight directly from Singapore to Boston or do I need to come back from Philippines?

Thank you!!

I’m afraid there’s a restriction and they won’t allow me to fly from Singapore To boston.

Wrong, if she is a Philippine citizen they might make her undergo CFO before they let her go to the USA.

Doesn't she would have to undergo CFO before she leaves the Philippine anyways? I mean, this is required for her to leave, not to arrive here, right? So how is that wrong? Her question was "Is it okay if I’ll have a flight directly from Singapore to Boston or do I need to come back from Philippines?"

Well what happens with alot of OFW's(Overseas Foreign Workers) is that they want to go visit family before they go on to the USA, this is actually very common in the Philippines.

She would have to undergo CFO before she leaves the Philippines, but if she goes direct from Singapore to the USA then CFO is not required at all. Also in the Philippines once they see that US visa then they will almost certainly force her to undergo it, anyway to make them more money.

Just one quick question my ceac status updated from immigrant received to non immigrant Application received.

Does that mean my visa will be delivered very soon? Thank you.
