Approved at Interview, still no update to case tracker.

We had our interview yesterday and the officer told us I was approved on the spot and that green card would be out in two to three weeks.

Reading this forum, it seems that when this happens people case statuses update to “card in production” etc but mine still says “Interview is scheduled”.

The case tracker has been very accurate the whole time with my EAD and the I-485/green card too in regards to updating - is it normal that it hasn’t updated yet??!?!

probably overthinking, but even though he said approved I won’t feel comfortable until I have the card in my hand.

Relax is the officer said that it has been approved, u have nothing to worry.

Case tracker is legendary for being inaccurate.

sometimes people get GC in the hand and status is still the old one

Same with me, had interview on the 28 of September, it went well, IO said he is recommending for approval. But no update, is one week now. Getting worried.

I know, right. People have said that the case tracker is unreliable but mine has been super reliable the whole way through.

Hopefully it’s just a glitch and I hope you get your GC soon! Be sure to comment here when you do it you can! 👍🏻

Hi,

I was on F-1 visa and got married on Jan 7 to a US citizen. We had our AOS interview on May 16 and we still have not received the green card.  Typically, they said green card would be sent within 2-4 weeks. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do? Let me know!

I would definitely set up an info-pass if I was you.

Ours still says Interview is scheduled but I did receive notice of approval in the post. It says Green card will be out in 2-3 weeks

Hi, thank you for your response.

You had your interview 5 months ago and have not received your green card? Did they indicate that you were accepted and have you not received anything?  It should not take 5 months with no correspondence - I would call them ASAP too and see what has happened.

an info pass appointment is where you go to your local USCIS office to ask them questions face to face about your case.
