I front loaded my initial I-130 application with all the details that I had at that time , like Call logs, pictures, boarding cards about 1 visit, local bank statement (not much money in it) , 2 affidavit of bonafide relationship from friends, receipt of gifts that I sent her.

My application at USCIS is still not approved. Hopefully it will get approved this month

In my I-130 application I only had 1 visit to show that I meet my wife.

By the time the application gets to NVC I would have visited her 2 more times and we also went on our honey moon after the I130 was submitted.

few Questions that I have are:
- given that its Islamabad embassy should I 'side load' with more evidence at the NVC stage?
- what exactly should I side load?
- when the I-130 was submitted we officially got married and did a small ceremony, but over the summer we had a bigger ceremony (most of my family attended this time) . how should I indicate to USCIS/NVC about this ceremony ( I assume they will get confused about the original Marriage and the new ceremony)
- I read that 'side loading' could also be used by the CO as a reason for denial.

- given that its Islamabad embassy should I 'side load' with more evidence at the NVC stage? Yes if the evidence is substantial
- what exactly should I side load? any extra substantial/compelling evidence

Hey bro ... the only thing i am worried about is that at the time you filed I-130 you had only done Nikkah. The consular might make a point that since all rituals weren't completed marriage was not  consummated at the time of filing I-130 and could be basis of denial ??? I don't know its best to check with a lawyer. I am in the exact same situation as you.

However, in my opinion my marriage was consummated when my Nikkah was done and we had a reception the following day. We also had honeymoon few days after.

USCIS is only interested in the official marriage they have no concern about ceremony.  My question was more geared towards how should I word the reception that was over the summer.

I had a small wedding ceremony in April last year in Dubai and then a bigger reception in August again in Sri Lanka and I was truthful about this at the interview and they understood. Told them we wanted to have an event for all our family in Lanka as well.
