Why does Case Tracker says:

I-485: Case status change: 40 days ago.

I-765: Case status change: 47 days ago.

Why are they 7 days apart?

because the 485 changes from case received to fingerprint fee received...whereas the 765 (and the 131) just stays at case received.

Update on our case

11/17/2017 Biometrics NOA in mail

11/09/2017 Notice date (on the letter)

11/27/2017 Biometrics Appointment

Hopefully we and other filers get no request for evidence. Fingers crossed!

P. S. USCIS status haven't changed since 11/09/2017 which was for the very first NOA

I guess it's true that they don't update the status online very often. Anyway, most important is to get paper NOAs.

10/31/2017 Received & Priority Date for all the three forms

11/07/2017 Notice Date (on the letter)

11/13/2017 I-797C NOA mail (3 separate notices)

11/17/2017 Biometrics NOA mail

So I did get my letter today, as expected.

But, they're sending me to Detroit instead of Cleveland.

Technically, it might be a few miles closer but I'm still pissed. :D

Why send me to another state instead of the city my husband is from?!?

Oh well... a trip to a place I've never been to.

You can go do bio at any Office. You can even try doing it before your scheduled date.

So at this point. It is safe to assume that those that did not get RFIE/RFE so far probably won't get it?

Nope, RFE can be issued at any time.
