Who starts these rumors?. No you only need to visit CFO once for the initial visa. GC holders are free to travel.

The CFO officer informed us during the seminar that we should have the passport with the cfo sticker with us every time we exit the Philippines even if we are green card holders.  I think if you adjust to green card while you are in the US without going through CFO, you might need to go to CFO when you return to Manila/Cebu.  However, best to call CFO to verify.

If you renew you PI passport the CFO sticker will not transfer over. No, one only needs the CFO sticker when leaving the Philippines with a visa (immigrant or fiancee).

I hope you are right. Just wanted to confirm if this news is true or not.

Gosh I wish you guys would STOP LISTENING TO GOSSIP/RUMORS because 99% of the time it is false and does nothing but spread fear. You do not need to go to CFO if you go back to the Philippines to visit. If you are going back on a passport with your married name you are fine and should have no problems. If you go back on your maiden name passport make sure you BRING YOUR MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE AND PRESENT IT TO IMMIGRATION, also when you are leaving make sure you have it and present it even if you are not asked to present it.

There was a case here a couple weeks ago where a woman went to the Philippines on her maiden name passport and did not present it upon arrival and did not present it upon trying to leave. She was DENIED the ability to leave the Philippines because she just took what they said and did not question it or present her marriage license at all.

STOP SPREADING LIES FEAR.

It is just the rumor mill is all and they won't have anything more to tell you. As you know they just heard it somewhere and thus no facts.

No you do not need to visit CFO if you have a green card.  CFO GCP/PDOS seminars are for exiting Emigrates only ... which you no longer are as you have a GREEN CARD.

Who ever told you that.. put them on your list of people to NOT listen to.

The CFO officer is an IDIOT, and that is me being polite!   Once you have your green card, even if you renew your passport.. the CFO sticker is NOT needed... CFO is for EXITING EMIGRATES ONLY.

My wife traveled with her passport in her married name, no CFO sticker, no one cared or asked to see "the sticker" as she presented her green card at check-in.  DONE.

A majority of these CFO officials have never ever immigrated to a different country so they are just spreading gossip on what they heard.
