I don't think a payment on behalf would be an issue. They'll need to print the MRV slip for payment and must keep the payment receipt, doesn't matter online or at the bank physically. The payment receipt is very important.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Some bank branches require a passport others can't take the payment so be sure to call ahead. Wait till you get back to schedule your interview.

No issue someone else paying the visa fee for you, all that is required is to print out a deposit slip from the USEM/DOS website .. link below.   You will need the receipt later for the interview, so don't lose that.   As noted by Greenbaum, some of the smaller BPI branches can not do the visa payment processing.

Here is a link that may help with links to what is required.

Passport not required.   Only the deposit slip.

I am from Malaysia so I have no idea about the Philippines' payment receipt. LOL. Based on my few experiences paying US visa application fees, names are not usually on the receipts. They refer to the UID. That's for where I'm from though.

Sorry about that.     I tend to block countries that try spamming (except for the Phils) ...  I was afraid of that.  Should have posted the direct link.. but you got it all is good.   The 2nd link is for the deposit slip to print out.

No,  payment receipt doesn't have a name on it... just a number, and you will need that to schedule your interview appointment.
