Hi I have one question my uscis status is the same like before its say department of state send us your case for review and we are reviewing it and when we are done we will mail you why its that if they send us request for evidence notice then why they don't update the status on uscis ?

They don't always update their system......when we received a checklist from NVC, it never changed......but it would be much better if they did keep it current.

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Oh ok I was wondering why they don't update the status but it's ok we are still waiting for notice

Hi friends me and my wife so stressed out we still havnt recieve our request for evidence notice from uscis our service center is potomac service center Arlington virginia and my wife live very near to that service it's like 2 hours drive but unfortunately she didn't recieve the RFE notice yet and she is very upset and I am also sad I dont know why they said no to my wife when she said she will get the letter from their office but they told to my wife she will get the notice in the mail they don't allow her to came to their office if what if she recieve the notice and time is very short for us to respond this is very hard time right now any help will be highly appreciated thanks

I guess you need to wait for the letter. Your wife may want to contact a lawyer who is on stand by (without paying him anything yet). If the letter turns out to require serious legal help, she would have a lawyer on standby, if we can help you here, she can simply decide to not use him at that stage.

Hi yesterday my wife got call from uscis and they said we provide everything maybe they will return our case back to us embassy islamabad for another interview but she also said maybe if they need anything from us they will let us know they said we will hear something within one week I don't know what's going on there....

Hi friends yesterday I check myuscis and also check what will be uscis next step on my case and I see there they said we will mail our decision to you.the notice will explain any action you need to take instead of request for evidence notice what's going on there I dont understand help us please

Hi my wife got the email today from uscis and they approved our case again and they said The Potomac Service Center has updated USCIS records with the new address you provided. However, we approved your Form I-130 and sent it to the National Visa Center (NVC).

Please contact the NVC to notify them of your address change, so that your petition can be updated with this information as well.

Let your wife visit you  more and ask her to come to next interview
