i found out via phone, i called them and they told me they gave me an interview date yesterday and yet to send email notification and mail.

BTW, my wife didn't pay any fee at passport collection (e.g. 850 RS).  Maybe collection at authorized SpeedEx you may have to pay.  

Do verify with the AEG hotline.

Got passport with visa today. Received from them and collected from office in Lahore paid Rs. 850 Allhumdulila

Is the original I-864 (Affidavit of Support) required for the interview? I know that it's best to have it, but what if you can't get it in time for the interview?
