Ok guys had the interview today went well . Everything seemed to be in order. In the end they said we need to do some administrative processing on your case kept the passport and everything . I believe that is the standard process in Islamabad for males.

 

now they also asked for a ticket to prove domicile . This also shouldn't be a problem . The issue is the ticket dates. AP can take a couple of weeks to a couple of months right . And I can't leave work without giving a couple of months notice . However I am also concerned that if I give a departure date 4 months later they will process my case more slowly or am I overthinking it 

Prove whose domicile? Your spouse's?

I do not know the experiences of others but it took 21 days from POE to receive the green card.

Visa status changed to Issued today. One day after interview...sooner than I expected.

Hi Everyone!  

 

Just to check in...

My wife's medical was done on 7/24 and got the report via courier on 7/29.  

My wife's interview is next week 8/24 8 AM!!!  Seems years away...

Tentative POE at JFK first week of September.  Will purchase her ticket once passport is in hand. 

 

Unfortunately, I cannot be with her during the interview nor POE due to work obligations.

So my visa status is issued but my daughter's is still in AP and they were both updated today.....not sure what's going on there..
