Hi, everyone! I am going to be doing ROC on September. My husband and I just moved. I read that I can change my address online however we have to send in Form I-865, Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address for my husband/sponsor. My question is, do we have to send any other documents with the form? Or do I just mail the form by itself?  

 

Also, my mother-in-law who is a joint sponsor, moved with us, does she have to send in Form I-865, Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address too?

We mailed the I-865 by itself, no supporting documentation, and submitted the AR-11 online. I believe all sponsors (including co-sponsors) are required to submit change of address. Also, photocopy your signed and dated I-865s and hold on to proof of mailing like USPS receipt. I updated our address in March 2016 when we moved, but this April 2017 the reminder letter USCIS sends about applying for ROC showed up at our old address. Fortunately we know the people who still live there, but when I sent another round of the AR-11 (snail-mailed it this time) and I-865, I included proof that I had already submitted them 13 months earlier, A) so I didn't get in trouble for failing to update address, and B) so they made sure to actually change it this time!

Thank you for your response! We just mailed my husband's and mother-in-law's I-865 forms yesterday. We didn't include other documents but we did keep the USPS receipt. I'm hoping my future mails from USCIS will end up on our new address though.
