Venezuela Opposition Names Judges, Government Allies Cry Treason

I predict civil war soon.  That is probably the only way to remove a Democratic Socialist that has turned fascist.

26 COMMENTS  CARACAS, Venezuela—The opposition-held congress swore in 13 new supreme court judges Friday as replacements for pro-government justices, in a bid to undermine the government’s plan to have a special assembly draft a new constitution.

Moments after the appointments, the top judge in the constitutional chamber, Juan José Mendoza, accused those the congress named of treason and asked police to take “coercive action.” He declined to provide details.

“Justice will take care of any usurpers,” Diosdado Cabello, a close ally of President Nicolás Maduro and vice president of the ruling socialist party, said Friday in the western city of Mérida during a speech to rally support for the constituent assembly.

 

The court’s constitutional chamber earlier said any such a move by the opposition would constitute a crime and a usurpation of its powers. The court, which has a total of 32 justices, has been unerringly allied with Mr. Maduro.

They love freedom as long as they are the one's in charge of determining every facet of everyone's life.

You just described the conservative movement, in their anti-choice, anti-marriage equality, anti-equal-rights stances. The cool-aid may be wearing off. You're moving into the real-fact world.

It's funny, the religious right movement has come full circle.. as socialism in leftist politics.

So the Democratic Socialist are just as bad as the conservatives?  By the way, most conservatives aren't against these things, they just don't want the government forcing them on us.  Socialist on the other hand want to control every facet of your life.

What we can say that when the conservatives force their views on everyone and take choice away from women, fight to take marriage equality away from American citizens, or to circumvent equal rights laws through the guise of religion, you can correctly say they are forcing their values on everyone else. So, by your definition they are democratic socialist, pretending to be conservatives.
