I am starting this filler for ALL 2017 filers anyone who got there noa1 and noa2 or still waiting anxiously !! We all would like to know just as much as I do people and there experience in waiting from noa1 to noa2 how long did it take each of you to receive both?

I received my noa1 on april23. I'm anxious as I'm now nearing 90days active case. Has anyone else who filled in April got there noa2 as yet? Iam located in Massachusetts and my fiance is in Jamaica. Hope to see people comment on my post soon.

SOO anxious

P.s how do I prepare all documents for my cosponosr? What are all things I should tell my cosponsor to get and have and should I have her start now? Or wait until I have the noa2 in hand??

We are early March 2017 filers.

NOA1 took 6 days.

NOA2 took 88 days.

Here's the K-1 guide where you and your petitioner can find the essential information: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Late March filer and still waiting. Sadly, don't expect to hear anything soon. This is the longest and most agonizing wait I've ever had to endure!! Some people have been lucky like @KULtoATL and get their NOA2 around 90 days, but it definitely doesn't seem to be the norm right now. Tons of March filers are still waiting. I will have been waiting 4 months as of next Friday so my advice is to plan on it being AT LEAST 4 months before you can expect to receive NOA2 and if it happens before that then it will be a nice surprise.

CO-sponsor will need to gather financial docs like previous years tax return transcripts, pay stubs, letter from bank, letter from employer. Search the forums for posts about the I-134 Affidavit of Support form and you should be able to find a lot of information about what will be needed.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

You are right about the processing times. We did get lucky but my interview date is 2.5 months from NOA2 :jest: That pretty much evens out the waiting.

OP, I-129F approval could take less than 3 months, could be 3 months, could be more. Back in Q4 2016, people were actually approved within 1.5 months! And now, there are backlogs and people who receive NOA1 at the end of the months seemed to be the one getting extra delayed NOA2.

The info @KozmicBlues noted on the I-134 is correct. However, that's not the only thing that your petitioner needs to send to the beneficiary at the K-1 stage. Don't forget a fresh new letter of intent!

All the best :)
