I see the list of vaccinations on packet 4 and want to get as many done locally as I can by my family physician as it will be much cheaper than having it done out of province.... like hundreds of dollars cheaper.

I am going to visit my local physician tomorrow morning.

I'm currently looking for a "fairly accurate" list of what is needed, and stumbled upon this page below on this forum:

Is this site accurate as per the age that vaccinations are required to?

https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/panel/vaccination-panel-technical-instructions.html#tbl1

Since I am over the age of 30, does this mean that I can rule out requiring certain shots such as HepA and B, which would take MONTHS to complete? Even reading that list with the defined lines is confusing.

EDIT: I see that in bold on that page it also says :

Quote

Completion of a vaccine series is not required to conclude the medical examination

Is this true for series vaccinations such as HepB that would otherwise take SIX MONTHS to complete?

If you call the panel clinic that is supposed to conduct the K-1 medical check-up in Canada, they will be able to tell you what shots you need for your age. From there, you can go to your family physician to get them instead of spending a ton on shots that you don't need.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
