Kind of a big leap from that to the Giffords shooting.  I realize the MDL has to justify an identified Bernie supporter targeting GOP congress members, but the comparison just isn't there as the NYTimes and countless other news organizations have said over the years.  This is one of the big reasons the NYTimes is facing a fairly substantial libel suit.

They've tried everything to equate the left's militantism to the rights stupidity during Obama's Presidency. It's a pretty funny series of attempts.

 

If Jared Loughner is the worst that happened over the rhetoric from a span of 8 years, 2008-2016, I'd say compared to what's been happening since 2016 (not even a full year yet), that's an insanely better environment than now. Despite all the rhetoric about the violent right the left kept scaremongering about during Obama's Presidency, it was leftist groups who wound up committing violent acts against opponents, businesses, and police. The worst people throughout the US had to worry about encountering the right was a bunch of whiny old white guys who were no threat to them. The left are an extremely unhinged and dangerous bunch.

Kind of like the big leap made that the nut job who threatened Flake somehow represents everyone to the left of the MOR/MRL? Sorry but you don't get to minimize the violence advocated and purpetrated by the right, up to and including the so called president, but conflate the words and actions of the lunatic fringe on the left with the overwhelming majority who are actually center with slight deviations to left or right.

So Loughner was in the MDL?  Last I heard he was politically independent and postenitally leaning left.

Correct. The image below was a construct in the minds of all Americans. In all likelihood, Gabrielle Giffords never existed.

That is fine but as most people know there was never any connection between the imagery and Loughner.  Heck, Loughner was a sexist, so he would have never listened to anything Sarah Palin said.  That being said, where is the MDLs outrage of Bernie's bombastic rhetoric almost immediately after the baseball shooting?  I know Bernie is a god to many in the MDL, but to call for unprecedented actions against their perceived enemies seems to be pretty reckless speech.

My bad, forgot what her graphic actually looked like. This one is so much more peaceful, let's go to the pedophile pizza place and talk about how peaceful over a slice shall we? Perhaps afterwards we can take a tour of the Obama FEMA camps that he ran out of time to populate while sadly pondering how Operation Jade Helm failed to take over civil control over the US population.
