Hi

 

My husband  (a US citizen) is in the middle of a career change and quit his job yesterday so he can focus on becoming a teacher, and substitute until he finds a permanent job. We have just applied to have the conditions removed a couple of months ago--would him taking a dip in salary affect our application?

It shouldn't have any impact. ROC is about the validity of the marriage, not financial support.

As the other posters advised, at this stage of the process its not about finances its about the legality of your marriage, whether or not it was entered in good faith, so this should not be an issue at all. So, please don't worry!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK
