We got it from Durango where my wife was born. Below info for Oaxaca. I ran into 2 people in this forum who came here at 17 and were asked for it. If it's not hard to get I would get just in case. http://enfoqueoaxaca.com/aqui-y-ahora/actualiza-sspo-requisitos-para-expedicion-de-certificados-de-no-antecedentes-penales/

11 years old and we have proved. But like you say its very clear that it only applies to those who have been in Mexico more than 6 months after their 18th birthday according to their guidelines. But man I am so nervous that I don't want to risk one bit. For us, it was easy to get so why not.

Yea me too that's why I'm stressing out... for us is not that easy because my wife's moms family live far from the place in Oaxaca  where you supposed to request it and also they don't really speak Spanish they still speak dialect

I'm hoping and praying to god that my wife doesn't get asked for it...

And if she was to be no big deal worst case they will reschedule and you will have to go to Mexico City. We were considering picking it since we are going to either make one stop in Monterrey or Mexico City and then from there to Juarez since those are our only 2 route flight options. But since we got out state no antecedentes we are flying to Monterrey it's a lot smaller and simpler airport. Our interview is in the 19th I'll sure get back with you. Our attorney said that the can deny only if they have a legal reason. And you can always challenge it because they are the ones saying only if she has lived more than 6 months after the 18th. My advice you take police report from the US for sure.

Department of State regulations state that applicants must present a certificate from their country of nationality. Most officers won't make a big deal about it for people that have been in the U.S. their entire life, but technically it's required.

Probably best to email CDJ and ask.

Another question...did your wife have DACA?

She did not apply of fear they would take it away and have her personal address like they are proposing now. If your wife did she could have applied for advance parole f I'm not mistaken spend a day and come back and with that legal reentry no need to go to Juarez.
