Does your initial 30 days start once you step foot in the Philippines?

I'm trying to line up my flight arrival and departure exact for 59 days (for the initial 30 days upon arrival + additional 29 days extension). If I fly out there from Chicago on July 23, arrive in Manila on July 25, and leave on Sept 22, will I be 59 days exact or within the 59 days?

For me it was always marked as the day I landed; but I always seemed to get the flights that land at 12:30am so.

Yes the 30 days starts as soon as you actual land in the Philippines and ends the day you leave.

You can stay beyond the 59 days if you care to are willing to pay for the extension. Visit immigration about 7 days prior to the 59 days. Request an extension and pay the immigration fees and you can remain. You can do this repeatedly as long as you are willing to pay the immigration fees.

There is also a way to not have to depart the country until you desire and there are no immigration fees involved.

I thought it was some dumb info ... no visa fees - ya right.   Just deposit THOUSANDS of dollars....   LoL!!  There is still a visa.. and there is still a fee.
