Over 100 days passed and no EAD. What can I do?

I don't have an interview in a month. Xhusky added her questions to this thread so it's mixed up.

I am over 100 days and have no interview date. Not sure what to do.

Tali

I'd request to expedite it. Here are some good instructions I found on VJ:

I would try to do call USCIS today. When you speak to UCSIS say that it has been over 100 and if you don't get the EAD on time, you will not be able to have a full-time teaching job for the whole academic year (I guess that is how it works). And mention the Severe financial loss to company or individual”.

You can do the congressman part over the weekend (letter and form) and give them a call on Monday morning.

I think that it won't hurt to try to get it expedited. You cannot just sit and wait.

Tell your future employer to give you a written job offer, then call USCIS and tell them you want to request an expedited EAD and ask where to send the job offer. It's not 100% guaranteed that the job offer will work but in most cases they seem to work.

So sorry for my misunderstanding - that's why we advise ppl to start their own threads :)

In this case yes, I would go for the expedite.

I don't know. Do you have one number for both, or a number for each? Maybe you can start a new thread with an informative title so that people answer this specific question.

Usually UCSIS allows for inquiries when you've been waiting for the EAD more than 75 days. You said you did that online, right?

EAD and/or AP is processed fully at the NBC for c9 category. If your i485 gets sent to your local field office - only that application will ever be sent there.

Finally got my card. EAD + AP after almost 130 days.

Didn't need to ask for an expedited process but the inquiry might have helped.

Thanks to all of you here for the help.

Next step - medical and interview.
