It's for the I-129f so I hope not 3 months! I was hoping not more than 3weeks 😂

Go to the CEAC status checker online.  Input your case number and once it says "ready for interview", you can fill out your DS-160, pay your visa fee, and schedule your interview.  After that you can complete your medical exam and get your police certificate and wait on your interview.  Things move very fast at this stage!

It's country-specific on how the packet(s) are sent to you from the embassy.  For Nigeria, they email you the packet but it's also online so I was able to get it early.

The packet for Nigeria just gave the place and instructions for the police report and also the medical exam.  I assume it is quite the same type of information for every country.  You can search the forums or portal and find out about your specific country packet(s).

Thanks, but if we do not then causes problem or delay the process ?

You do not need to call the NVC, they will process your case regardless. The reason people call is because they can give you the case number over the phone (once the case has been assigned one). With this number, you can track where you case is using the online CEAC tracking tool to tell whether the case is still at the NVC, in transit to the embassy, or has reached the beneficiary's local embassy and ready for interview scheduling. The NVC will send the petitioner a letter in the mail containing the case number, but it takes a little while to arrive. My letter arrived a few weeks after I had already called and received the case number. Because I already had the case number before I got the letter, we were able to get ahead of schedule and my fiance completed the medical exam, and once we saw that the embassy had our case, we completed the DS-160 and set up his interview. All of this was done before we received the hardcopy letter in the mail.
