N-14 form due to child support - N-400 application

My husband went to his interview to day for the citizenship.  He passed in his tests, but they said they needed more "prove" for his child support payment to his children in Brazil.

He will need to fill a N-14 form which I have looked at it and it looks really complicated.

Anyone knows anything about this form?

In Brazil we don't have any receipts or paperwork like to child support, they already said they won't accept a letter from his ex wife confirming all the payment for the last 10 years.

Any advise?

Thank you

He sent them, but they said the bank transfers weren't sufficient.

Well what do they want then?

You have no way to prove that he send them to the mother of his child if there are no receipts or paper trail of it and that's all they want.

Hope somebody else else have a suggestion of what to do!

This is a tough one because receipts/bank transfers,  unless they say child support payments can be for anything.

Do they have some sort of reporting system there if ppl fall behind in support? You might be able to get an attorney involved there to prove he's current.

Thank you all for the answers.  I am pretty frustrated right now.  We will wait for the letter to understand what they really would like us to show. Thank you again.

My husband is now "in line" for the oath ceremony. Thank you, Lord!

We sent two weeks ago more evidence as they'd requested. We are waiting now for the ceremony date.

Thank you, everyone!
