Hi

 

It's been a long time since I visited the London Embassy. We are going there for CRBA and I have got an email telling me what I can and can't take but wanted to check some things here.

 

It says no big bags, will a large nappy bag will be ok? It's not like a huge suitcase but it isn't small. What about a pushchair? 

 

When I went there, phones and keys were banned so we stored our stuff at a local pharmacy, I can't remember where now. Do people still do this?

 Lots more is allowed inside now like phones, tablets, keys. I would guess that the nappy bag would be okay since you have an infant with you. If they should refuse the push chair, you can take it to Gould's pharmacy close by like before. Maybe somebody else remembers seeing a pushchair inside. I don't recall that in particular,

Thank you, Gould was the place. Can't believe I'm going back there after 9 years. At least this time my husband will be with me 😀

I'm pretty sure I remember pushchairs when we there last year (renewing child's passport), though as there's lots of stairs I'd personally recommend a sling/carrier just from a logistics perspective. Nappy bags are definitely allowed.

When I went for my interview a few weeks back, I took a rucksack with my phone, kindle etc. and when I was in the waiting room, there were two couples there who had young children, with pushchairs, bags etc., so I am sure you'll be fine

I can't find our sling! I did think of that but it went in the roof somewhere and can't be found... Oh well

See my embassy review...😀 I was at desk 14 and the desk next to me was a couple with a baby and a pushchair. It was one of those massive pushchairs with all sorts of attachments and contraptions and it took up so much space there was barely enough room for me to squeeze myself into the space for my window. So they are definitely allowed.
