Do i need to bring w2 to interview ?

Hello all i have a joint sponsor. They sent me their w2 photocopy for the most recent year but do i need to bring the original to the interview because he is very hesitant and worried for us to get it. And do i need to bring his original pay stubs too

A 'scan' should work since most things are technically copies anyways unless they were original prints and stamped/notarized, ect..

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

When my wife was going thru the process I sent her copies of all of my tax info for interview. She told me the interviewer did not ask for any of it as the embassy had already gotten everything from the NVC

with that said I will still recommend having Tax info for the interview to be safe

copies are fine

Yes, photocopies or printed scans are sufficient for all financial supporting documents.  Take the original signed affidavits to the interview in case they want to see those.
