G325form is the biography form,you need to send along with i30form ,if you missed to send that form don't worry they will ask you as the request for initial evidence to fill the G325form ,but if you have not sent i30form send G325form too ,good luck

G325A is NO longer required with i-130.

I-485 filing still requires G325A.

Neither of the forms require G-325 anymore....the instruction is clear on USCIS page, 

G325a has been replaced by form I-130a which has the bio information originally included in the form G-325,

so why send it when its no longer needed?

I have seen people send only form I-130a and didn't get RFE for not sending G-325.

 

AOS Timeline:

05/01/2017: Forms I-130, I-485, I-765 sent to Chicago, IL (didn't include child's form I-765)

05/03/2017: Delivered.

05/10/2017: NOA1s received via text/email at 11:30pm.

05/15/2017: 5 NOA1s received via mail 

05/16/2017: Form I-765 (for child) sent to Chicago, IL.

05/20/2017: Biometrics appointment letter received.

05/22/2017: 1 NOA for form I-765 (for child)received by text/e-mail.

05/26/2017: 1 NOA received via mail.

06/02/2017: Biometrics done.

06/04/2017: Biom appt letter rec'd for child's form I-765

06/14/2017: Biometrics done.(for child)

06/14/2017: Both Forms I-485; Ready to be Scheduled for Interview.

08/18/2017: EAD, new card being produced.(day 108)

08/23/2017: EAD, card is being mailed (day 114)

08/26/2017: EAD card received (day happy)

Hi ! I filed for my parents I 130 along with I 485. My lawyer friend said that G 325 is no longer needed. I used the most recent I 130 form that expires on July 31st and i 485 1/1/2017 (not the most recent one). But now I am worried that I should have filed G 325 for my parents. She said that it is no longer required for concurrent filing and using the most recent I130. Please advise.

I did not file a G325 with my I-130, however I did file one with my I-485. I'm sorry I'm not sure for your specific circumstances as my application was spousal.

If you used the most recent I form, g325a is not required anymore either. This started at the beginning of this month, so a lot of old info is incorrect.

01/16/2017 - Packet 3 Instructions received 02/28/2017 - Packet 3 Instructions Completed

03/05/2017 - Packet 4 received (now the fun begins) --> 03/29/2017 - Interview disappears from the schedule on the embassy website -->03/30/2017 - She goes to her interview, is told they need to verify her documents since she is Vietnamese interviewing in Thailand, receives a 221G with 'Verification of Viet documents' as the reason. Gave back her passport.-->03/31/2017-04/04/2017 - Case is being continuously touched. We suspect that our case was approved at this point but they didn't have her passport. --> 04/10/2017 (10 days after interview) - Email emabssy to inquire about updates and if there was anything we could do to move things forward. (3h later) - She is told that she is approved and to expect her passport soon (how when they don't have it in their posession?) After clarification, instructed to send our passport to them. Ship out passport in a rush to beat Songkran (which failed) --> 04/11/2017 - Passport at embassy according to Thai Post Office --> 04/17/2017 - Emailed to confirm they received the passport. They issued an evasive answer about Songkran backlog (they love evasive non-committal answers)--> 04/24/2017  Evening - Case changes from Immigrant Visa to Non-Immigrant Visa and a new case created date is given --? 04/25/2017 morning  (less than 12h later) - Case flies through Ready -->Admin Processing --> Issued

04/26/2017 - Checks mail, passport is there. No mention of it being mailed out.

That is almost always a bad idea, it won't make it to its destination. The RFIE will request that you include the RFIE cover letter with your evidence, which is to help route it to where it needs to go.
