Hi, I'm a US Citizen and I got married in NY.  My husband is from Honduras he had a Tps since 99. About 10 months ago we left the US and he had a Parole to leave but due to the circumstances in Honduras we could not get back on time for him to renew his tps.

I need to get back to the US with my husband what kind of visa do we need to apply for? Is he going to have any problems trying to get back. Please help me.

If you have been married for more that 2 years it will be an IR1, but same process.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

We will be applying for an IR-1 visa I sent my I-130 on August 8th-2017.  We are hoping to get an answer by February or March 2018 is there anything else I need to get ready before we get the approval? what should we do once the I-130 gets approved and how long do you think is going to take after the 130's approval?
