I thought I was the only one. I got a touch on 26th as well, and then nothing. My hopes had gone up so much, thinking that I would get an approval.

D'OH!!

Scarlett07- I had touches on the 25th and 26th and then nothing. So you aren't alone. Still sucks ####### though.

Same here. One on the 19th and the last one on the 26th... nothing since.

It's now mid afternoon in the west and the later it gets in the day, the more anxious I become. People seem to hear more news later in the day - sometime between now and 9:30pm. So maybe I'll hear something today. Or maybe I won't. I feel crazy because I'm both 100% sure I'll get approved today and 100% sure that I won't. How is that possible?

What about you, jlcross...did you have anything like divorces or something out of the usual that might slow your packet down? I have a very straight forward, easy divorce as well but back in 2000.

I wonder if they just started the Security/BAckground Check with my touch and now we wait til the all-clear. Not sure why someone in the UK would have to wait a long time for a background check though.

I'm just rambling...trying to make sense of all of this. This is really putting a strain on everything in my life right now...I just flip out on my guy sometimes which doesn't help things... :(

Nope... no previous marriages, no former applications, no law enforcement record, nothing. We are both clean as can be.

My advice, don't try to make sense of any of this. There is no rhyme or reason when you're dealing with the US government. Trust me, I know. I've worked for the US government before.

CSC Received I-129f 11/9/06

NOA1 - 11/16/06

NOA2 - 5/11/07

Arrived NVC - 5/29/07

Left NVC - 5/31/07

Arrived Vancouver Consulate - 6/7/07

It's a weird theory that Schroedinger wrote about the state of a dead cat and an alive cat. When you see both cats in one space you only see one cat at a time "dead cat" and "alive cat" but you never see the mixture of both states.

Something like that. I guess it's a combo of ½ full, ½ empty but never both at the same time. Ok, I just got dizzy.
