Hi. I already wrote a post regarding what information I add when assembling the package but I will write a list again just to be on the same page.

  • Copy of green card
  • Three sworn affidavits by U.S. citizen friends, attesting to our relationship and marriage
  • Copy of the tax statement for 2015 and 2016 from the IRS
  • Copy of our Chemical Bank statement
  • Copy of our Capital One credit cards statement
  • Copy of our credit cards from Capital One
  • Copy of our health insurance cards
  • A copy of our utility bill
  • Copy of phone bill
  • Copy of our lease agreement
  • photos

So for the bank statements do I have to include EVERY SINGLE statement since we opened the bank accounts?

Do the affidavits need to be notarized?

I was thinking of adding our driver's license and ID, would that help in any way?

Do I have to add photos? How much is the minimum because I don't usually take photos with my wife. I have a few but not that many.

Where would I be able to get a statement or proof showing that we have a joint health insurance policy?

What else should I add? I see some people who have a box full of evidence when I feel like I only have a few papers.

Also, the biometrics, what's with that? When/ How do we do it?

After I gather all my information/ evidence, How do I assemble the package? How do I organize it?

Thanks for your help. I'm stressing out because I want to get it over with.

So for the bank statements do I have to include EVERY SINGLE statement since we opened the bank accounts? I did

Do the affidavits need to be notarized? I just had them sign, date, DOB and place of birth - But Affidavits are secondary evidence,

I was thinking of adding our driver's license and ID, would that help in any way? YES! it shows you both at the same address - I included this.

Do I have to add photos? How much is the minimum because I don't usually take photos with my wife. I have a few but not that many - NO - Photos are NOT part of the ROC process - this was required for AOS only

Where would I be able to get a statement or proof showing that we have a joint health insurance policy? Your health insurance company should be able to supply you with this

What else should I add? I see some people who have a box full of evidence when I feel like I only have a few papers. I think you have the necessary things required

Also, the biometrics, what's with that? When/ How do we do it? You will get a letter with a date and time to attend. They just take your fingerprints and photo

After I gather all my information/ evidence, How do I assemble the package? How do I organize it? I did a cover letter explaining the contents of my application, then I sectioned them in tabs. One for bank statements, one for joint bills, one for tenancy agreements etc. I then hole punched and binded all the paperwork together

Thanks for your help. I'm stressing out because I want to get it over with.
