I am looking now in my closet, to see what can I wear....not too casual...not to dressy... I talk too much!!! I will let you know tomorrow the result of the interview and the questions that they asked to us!!!

You'll be fine. How about something you'd typically wear to a job interview & yet comfy? That should send out a clear message you mean business (and wants a straight-forward approval) ;)

Good luck man... my interview is 1 week away, I just sent out 150 pictures to be printed and yes, I am taking them all... I am taking more than I can probably carry, but we've been together for 4 years as well and have over 1,000 pictures...

I am nervous just by reading you are nervous... Knowing you are nervous makes me even more nervous, because I know I will be a lot more nervous when we are a day away from the interview...(does that make sense ? lol)

In any case, GOOD LUCK ! Let s us know how it goes...

That really sucks! I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get yours soon. BTW, my cases were never transferred to CSC so the EAD came out of Missouri.

Looks like CSC is a hell of a lot speedier with AOS approvals than EADs! :P Well hopefully those pending at CSC will receive their AOS approvals soon so they don't have to wait for their EAD.

yeah the EAD is at MSC......obviously they are working at a snails pace

as for CSC, our case hasn't been touched since 6/3, when we rec'd the pending e-mail. It sucks really, I mean some people get approved in 90 days, while others wait years......this whole process STINKS

Hi everybody!!! I am a conditional permanent Resident!!! we did it!!! well, let me tell you about my interview. My interview was at 10am, and we arrived there at 9:50. We waited for half an hour, and when I was in the bathroom they asked for my name....I always do the same.... . The IO had a realy serious face, she wasn't smiling at all. She made us swear that we were going to say the truth. After that, she asked for my passport, driver's license, EAD and AP. She asked too for my husband's birth certificate. Then she asked us when and where we meet. ANd after that we had to show her some photos. She saw all the photos, and other things as letter from family members, boarding passes for common trips...She asked if we were living together, how long we have been living together in the present address, and then we had to give her leases, bills in both names, my husband's life insurance with my name as a beneficiary...

Then she asked my husband is he would mind doing the interview in spanish. He said no. And he started speaking in spanish. She was impressed, and she relaxed after that. I guess, it made a good impresion that my husband speaks my country's language!!

After that, she started asking me what I was studying...blah, bla, bla.....and after that she approved us!! she told me that my name was cleared and that from today I am a conditional permanent Resident.

One advice for all of you that will have the interview soon: keep everything organized, like in different plastic folders or something like that, so you can find everything fast. Be serious but relaxed..and good luck to everybody. If I've been able to do it (I get super nervous for this kind of things), you can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ANd thanka you for your support!!! Good luck everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Note: she didn't stamp my passport, but told me that I would get my greencard in two weeks)

get in line BEHIND me  My interview is in 2 days so I get to get nervous about her nervous before you, and then you can be extra nervous about BOTH of our nervousness and be a total nervous wreak. :P

I have pictures of activities we have done since he arrived as well as the wedding and honeymoon, in addtition to the utility bills and bank statement, and I have the form we filled out for me and my son to be on his medical insurance from work, so I think we will be fine. Just going to go in there with my straight forward clothes for my straight forward approval (as someone wrote above)

PS: Congrats Burke.:dance: I was wondering where you were from. Now I saw in your timeline, somewhere spanish. Felicitations amiga.
